OTTMAR LIEBERT AND GERMANS SINGING THE BLUES

A new Mount Sinai School of Medicine says that moderate drinking of red wine in the form of cabernet sauvignon may help reduce Alzheimer's Disease, well lab mice anyway.

David Suzuki says its fine with him if bloggers and others are using his information to build thier own environmental agenda. Take his reseach and go forth and do good things.

Jeffrey Renville told me about a new jazz man called Chris Botti. I told Kim about it and he fast as his hands could hit the keys sent me a few of his new songs. I thought they were wonderful. Old jazz classics. It is also nice that the man is tall, blonde and big blue-eyed whck makes a nice cd cover.

Ten years ago i met a German teen-ager who had just had a concert in a Victoria school gymnasium. He played Jazz, Blues and New Orleans boogie-woogie. I told him then that he would be well-known one day and he is. I sent an e-mail in 1996 to Ottmar Liebert and told him about this young man. Ottmar wrote back and said, "hm, German's playing the blues? This world is turning upside down and i dont't mind it at all."

Germans singing the Blues --
Autumn leaves falling down
to the music's beat
