Damp October morning
two squirrels chase
each other up and down
the old Maple tree
a cat silentley watching

In the dark night
the sound of a lawnmower
a drunk neighbour

I look up and see
his Finnish lake eyes
smiling into my dark ones
my heat feels
at home and safe

My hosts
buy me a cup
I'm not 40
I'm 18 with 22
